"Islands in the Stream" were created in honour of the incredible Dolly Parton

The swirls of iridescent blue and purple paints created a unique pattern reminiscent of islands floating in a stream 

The dried paint has been hand cut and placed onto a stainless steel earrings, and then sealed under glass, giving the paint a second life instead of going in the bin.

This means it is genuinely one of a kind. This exact pattern, this exact movement of colour, happened once, and it will never happen again. When it's gone, it's gone

I chose glass over resin on purpose. It keeps every layer of colour crisp and clear without the extra chemical load
